It all began with the renovation of an old farmhouse built after the war by Emilio Pescollderungg, the great-grandfather of the current owner. A lot has changed since then. In 1970, Anna and Giuseppe Pescollderungg took in the first bed and breakfast guests. 29 years later, in 1999, Francesca and Christian Pescollderungg expanded the business into a small family guest house. The result was the Hotel and Restaurant La Fradora, which gets its name from the family’s own alpine pasture and means “sheep grazing land” in Ladin. In 2011, new superior rooms and suites were added. In 2013, the hotel was expanded to include a wellness area with sauna, relaxation rooms and an outdoor whirlpool plus two new Swiss pine suites and two junior suites. In the summer of 2017, the last conversion work was finished for the time being – a more spacious underground car park for guests, a new entrance and reception area with a bar and cosy lounge, a larger restaurant area with buffet and 11 new plush rooms.Read more
